What's new?
Well, the new puppy is fitting in well. She's sleeping through the night now. Potty training isn't 100% (as in We're not 100% trained at getting her out often enough all of the time.) But when we take her out and set her down, she does her business right away.
On the ranch, the calves are weaned and ship out this week. Pregnancy testing for the cows will begin too (we have to do them in 3 batches). Canadian Thanksgiving is next weekend. And hubby has PET Scan this week as well. (Fingers crossed for the latter.)
Ooo! And hubby, my sons, and the hired hand took down the old chicken coop and drug the new one into the run to replace it. So, the girls have a whole new house. The inside walls are all painted very artsy fartsy, but it has MUCH better insulation and is not infested with 20 years of mice!

I'm still asking for testimonials.
PLEASE, would any veterinarian that I have ever taught on the subject of canine rehab (assessment, making a 'rehab diagnosis', treatment, exercise prescription, modalities, etc., etc.) - Live, or even if within FourLeg, please write me a letter of recommendation. The intention is to prove ME as a credible source on these
topics. Crazy... but this has been suggested to me as a way to help prove myself as a content expert when in discussions with the Vet Colleges (Vet Boards) up here! And, it doesn't matter where in the world you are from. PLEASE and THANK YOU!

Two for the Price of One - Neck, Rib, and Shoulder Correlations

I was looking through some recent journal articles and I found a topic that caught my attention. Essentially correlations between one finding and another finding.
The article that got me thinking was this one:
The incidence of impingement syndrome in cases of cervical radiculopathy: An analysis of 220 cases.
This article sums up my neck and right shoulder issues perfectly! The issue is currently made worse because I’ve not been to yoga for MONTHS. In yoga, we spend a lot of time in a forward fold or down dog, or other head down postures that traction my neck and subsequently improve neck AND shoulder pain. So, I’m going to have to spend more time upside down I think!
Anyways, it made me think about dogs and whether or not I see this in dogs. Well, yes and no!

For over a year, I worked with Physiotec (an online exercise platform) to create a exercise prescription platform for canine rehab practitioners. And this is it!
I've put hundreds of exercises together onto this handy platform. You can find the exercises, print off a handout, send them a link to the VIDEOS of the exercises. There's so much: Massage, owner-friendly joint therapies, exercises, advisement, etc,
etc!
NOW... be aware that this platform is run by / owned by Physiotec (and they charge separately for it's use)... and the support for the website is via physiotec as well. The MAIN GLITCH I am finding now... is that when you e-mail or call tech-support you will NEED to LET THEM KNOW that your question pertains to FOURLEGEXERCISE! (Otherwise, it's a bit of a schmozzle to get sorted, because they direct you to the
Physiotec website vs FourLegExercise website!!!) Check it out and LET ME KNOW (what you think, your experiences, etc... so that I can report back if there are issues!)
