Winning & Losing versus Playing in Business
And A Four Leg Rehab Minute on Nerve Sheath Tumours
The life updates:
I had a few days off... but it's crazy. Crap comes up on those days off and it's never really relaxing. Additionally, I find that it's the only time I have time to get other stuff done (i.e. my clinic blogs and eblasts, Ranch related paperwork and year end stuff, and so on.) Oh well. I'm still healthy and I'm still working. So I'll stop complaining!
Since the most exciting thing I'm up to these days is watching On Demand TV, I'll recommend Yellowstone (We've just started it. It's on Amazon Prime.) And recent listens on Audiobooks have been Greenlights by Matthew McConaughey, and Badass Habits by Jen Sincero. Thumbs up on both.
Okay, so on with the show!

Essentially, the video talks about game theory whereby games are created based on someone winning and someone losing. For example...

I've put all of my exercises (and some of yours) onto a handy platform - Physiotec! It's a wonderful online resource for delivering home exercise / advice programs.
There are HUNDREDS of exercises FOURLEGEXERCISE.COM already! You can find the exercises, print off a handout, send them a link to the VIDEOS of the exercises. There's
so much! Massage, Owner-friendly joint therapies, Exercises, Advisement, etc, etc.
NOW... be aware that this platform is run by / owned by / billed for separately, by... Physiotec... and the support for the website is via physiotec as well. The MAIN GLITCH I am finding now... is that when you e-mail or call tech-support you will NEED to LET THEM KNOW that your question pertains to
FOURLEGEXERCISE! (Otherwise, it's a bit of a schmozzle to get sorted, because they direct you to the Physiotec website vs FourLegExercise website!!!) Check it out and LET ME KNOW (what you think, your experiences, etc... so that I can report back if there are issues!)
I hope you find it useful!
GO THERE... CHECK IT OUT!

Still asking for support!

I need LETTERS OF SUPPORT (mainly from Veterinarians, but I'll take ANY and all of them)!
To be considered a subject matter expert, I am looking for letters that cover topics such as:
- Laurie Edge-Hughes taught me safe & effective use of modalities (such as laser, shockwave, etc.)
- Laurie taught me effective physical assessment skills and how to use clinical reasoning to make a PHYSICAL / Pathofunctional / FUNCTIONAL diagnosis
- Laurie taught me how to plan treatments for rehab cases
- Laurie taught me manual therapy skills
You get the gist.
I am looking for DOZENS of letters. Please! Please! Thank you to those that already sent one. I appreciate it so very much. (Send to Laurie@FourLeg.com)
Thank you in advance for considering my request AND THANK YOU TO THOSE OF YOU THAT HAVE ALREADY WRITTEN LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION FOR ME!
|
And that's a wrap! Have a great week ahead everyone!
Until next time... Cheers!
Laurie
