What's new?
I am behind! I think, how can this happen... but I guess it doesn't take much of a disturbance in my usual routine to suck time away from the other things that I usually get done. Preparing for the two Ranch days of Vaccinating, tagging, etc meant several days of prep, two days of making food AND working in the corral, and two days of clean up. Oh the glamour! Anyways, I'm behind and I apologize to those waiting for answers to questions
of all sorts.
On the happy front, the oldest son (the one previously referred to as our failure to launch basement-dweller) has move out and found a job. Okay, so he's moved out into a little run down farm house on property we rent and he's got a labour-job at a local saw mill... but it's a good step into adulthood (with training wheels still in place)... so I'll take it. This kid has been difficult to parent. (He turns 24 next month!)
And as always, I am grateful to everyone sticking with me and enjoying the new FourLeg format and look! It really is the best bang for your buck in regards to a continuing learning resource.

Let’s talk about treating hip pain! Unilateral hip osteoarthritis (OA) can be problematic in many ways. A recent human research article evaluated the effectiveness of dry needling on pain, hip muscle strength and function in patients with hip OA.
And I think we can learn from this research and apply it to our canine patients!

HEY, did you know that some discussions carry on into a page 2! Look for the little page 2 (or more) tab at the bottom of the discussion if you click on one that is highlighted red but you seem to have read it already... could be you're missing page 2, or 3!

- To get on, you need to sign up with a NEW username and password. (Password can be the same as what you you to get into the Member's area). Next time you want 'in', it should remember
you.
- Pick a user name that you want to be seen.
- Answer questions. Post questions.
- Sign your posts please... It's nice to reply to a person by name!
- If you want to post a document or a picture, you can drag it into the message box or scroll down, click attachments, and then 'add files'.
- Videos... Upload to Youtube, and then posting the link.
- Want to be notified when someone answers your question or responded to your comment? Just under the reply box, you can click "notify me when a reply is posted".

For over a year, I worked with Physiotec (an online exercise platform) to create a exercise prescription platform for canine rehab practitioners. And this is it!
I've put hundreds of exercises together onto this handy platform. You can find the exercises, print off a handout, send them a link to the VIDEOS of the exercises. There's so much: Massage, owner-friendly joint therapies, exercises, advisement, etc,
etc!
NOW... be aware that this platform is run by / owned by Physiotec (and they charge separately for it's use)... and the support for the website is via physiotec as well. The MAIN GLITCH I am finding now... is that when you e-mail or call tech-support you will NEED to LET THEM KNOW that your question pertains to FOURLEGEXERCISE! (Otherwise, it's a bit of a schmozzle to get sorted, because they direct you to the
Physiotec website vs FourLegExercise website!!!) Check it out and LET ME KNOW (what you think, your experiences, etc... so that I can report back if there are issues!)
